Preparing Bodywork for Adhesive

- Remove any adhesive residue with Adhesive Remover (VAS 6349).

- Clean the outer panel from dirt, grease, wax and other contaminants just before installing the extension first with adhesive remover (D 002 000 10) and then with plastic cleaner (D 195 850 A1).

• Always use a clean, lint-free towel.

- Carry over the dimensions for the primer surface from the components onto the bodywork.

- Apply glass/paint primer (D 009 200 02) uniformly in one stroke onto metal parts using applicator (D 009 500 25).

Use plastic primer (D 009 600) on the bumpers.
