Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Ignition Coils with Power Output Stages

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Assembly tool (T10118)

• Puller for ignition coil (T10095A)

Removing

- Unclip the connector strip cover.

- Place the (T10118) against the release button - arrow -, and carefully disconnect the electrical connector from the respective ignition coil with power output stage.





- From the straight side of the electrical connector, push the (T10095A) on in the - direction of the arrow -, and pull out the ignition coil with power output stage.





Installing

- Install the ignition coil with power output stage into the corresponding spark plug hole so that straight connector sides fit with each other - arrows -.





- Slide on the (T10095A) from the straight connector side in the - direction of the arrow - and press the ignition coil with power output stage onto the spark plug.
