Tire Pressure Sensor Assembly Overview





1 Tire Pressure Sensor

• Supplied complete as replacement part

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Tire Pressure Sensor ] Service and Repair

• When battery is discharge, the entire ire pressure sensor must be replaced

• After using a wheel repair kit, the bore for the valve and opening of the pressure sensor must be wiped clean.

2 Valve Core

• Replace at every tire change

• Use only original manufacturer's valve insert, it has a special coating!

3 Sealing Washer

4 Seal

• Is slightly deformed when tightening the union nut - 6 -

5 Disc Wheel

• Mounting tires (wheels with tire pressure monitoring system), refer to => [ Tires, Wheels with Tire Pressure Monitoring System ] Tires, Wheels with Tire Pressure Monitoring System

• Mounting tires with emergency running characteristics, refer to => [ Run-Flat Tires ] Run-Flat Tires

6 Union Nut

• 8 Nm

7 Valve Cap

• Use only original valve caps from the repair set

• Do not use Comfort valve caps and metal caps
