Front Suspension

Front Frame Crossmember

Removing

- Raise and support vehicle.






- Remove front engine mount thru-bolt (4).






- Remove crossmember front mounting bolt (6).

- Remove crossmember four rear mounting bolts (3, 4).

- Remove the crossmember.






- Remove front engine mount mounting bolts (2). Remove mount (1) from crossmember (3).

Installing






- Install front engine mount (1) on crossmember (3). Install mounting bolts (1) and tighten to 55 Nm (41 ft lbs).






- Position crossmember in engine compartment and install mounting bolts (3, 4, 6). Tighten front mounting bolt (6) to 113 Nm (83 ft lbs). Tighten rear mounting bolts (3, 4) at suspension crossmember (2) to 55 Nm (41 ft lbs).






- Install front engine mount thru-bolt (4). Tighten bolt to 57 Nm (42 ft lbs).

- Lower vehicle.
