Long Rear Overhead Console






Long Rear Overhead Console

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) , gently pry off both the front (3) and rear (5) overhead console trim bezels.

- Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the front trim bezel (3) and remove the bezel.

- Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the rear trim bezel (5) and remove the bezel.






- Remove the screws (2) (two in front and two in back) securing the overhead console to the roof panel.

- Grasp the overhead console (3) and give a firm tug downwards in order to disengage the console from the roof panel retainers.

- Disconnect the DVD screen electrical connectors (1), if equipped.

- Remove the overhead console from vehicle.

Installing






- Position the overhead console (3) over the retainer slots in the roof panel.

- Connect the DVD screen electrical connectors (1), if equipped.

- Snap the overhead console (3) into place on the roof retainers.

- Install the screws (2) (two in front and two in back) securing the overhead console to the roof panel retainers.






- Connect the electrical connector (4) to the rear trim bezel (5) and snap into place.

- Connect the electrical connector (2) to the front trim bezel (3) and snap into place.

- Connect the negative battery cable.
