Short Rear Overhead Console, without Sunroof

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) , gently pry out the overhead console bezel (1).

- Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) for the reading lamps and the rear heating, ventilation and air conditioning control head, if equipped.






- Remove the screws (2) securing the rear of the overhead console (3) to the roof panel.

- Grasp the overhead console (3) firmly and pull down on the front of the unit in order to disengage the front of the console.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors (1), if equipped with a DVD screen.

Installing






- Connect the electrical connectors (1), if equipped with DVD screen.

- Position the overhead console (3) into place over the slots and firmly snap the front of the console into place.

- Install the screws (2) securing the rear of the overhead console (3).






- Connect the electrical connectors (3) to the reading lamps and rear HVAC control head, if equipped.

- Position the overhead console bezel (1) over the retaining slots and firmly snap the bezel into place.

- Connect the negative battery cable.
