Rear Blower Motor Resistor






Rear Blower Motor Resistor

Removing

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.






- Remove rear HVAC housing (1) and place it on a workbench. Refer to => [ Rear HVAC Housing ] Rear HVAC Housing.

- Disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the rear blower motor resistor (3).

- Remove the two screws (4) that secure the rear blower motor resistor to the back of the rear HVAC housing and remove the resistor

Installing

- Position the rear blower motor resistor (3) into the rear heater-A/C housing (1).






- Install the two screws (4) that secure the rear blower motor resistor to the rear HVAC housing. Tighten the screws to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.).

- Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the rear blower motor resistor.

- Install the rear HVAC housing. Refer to => [ Rear HVAC Housing ] Rear HVAC Housing.
