Carrier Plate

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Remove the interior door handle bezel..

- Remove the upper rear molding assembly.

- Remove the sliding door trim panel.

- Remove the door glass.

• With fixed glass. Refer to => [ Sliding Door Glass, Fixed ] Sliding Door Glass, Fixed.

• With movable glass. Refer to => [ Sliding Door Glass, Movable ] Sliding Door Glass, Movable.

- Remove the front latch screws.

- Remove the rear latch screws.

- Remove the lower glass channel screws.

- Disconnect the lower electrical connector.

- Disconnect the exterior door handle cable.

- Remove the hold open latch. Refer to => [ Hold Open Latch ] Hold Open Latch.

- Remove the door carrier plate fasteners (1).






- Remove the door carrier plate (3) by lowering the front of the plate and raising the rear while gently pulling the door carrier plate up and out.

Installing

- Install the door carrier plate (3) to the sliding door.






- Install the door carrier plate fasteners (1).

- Install the hold open latch. Refer to => [ Hold Open Latch ] Hold Open Latch.

- Connect the exterior door handle cable.

- Install the front latch and fasteners.

- Install the rear latch fasteners.

- Connect the lower electrical connector.

- Install the door glass.

• With fixed glass. Refer to => [ Sliding Door Glass, Fixed ] Sliding Door Glass, Fixed.

• With movable glass. Refer to => [ Sliding Door Glass, Movable ] Sliding Door Glass, Movable.

- Install the sliding door trim panel.

- Install the upper rear molding assembly.

- Install the interior door handle bezel..

- Connect the negative battery cable.
