Rain Sensor for Intermittent Wipe Inoperative

The interval operation of the windscreen wipers controlled by rain sensors does not work.

Tip:
The function of the wipers and the headlights are not affected.

Technical Background

Rain sensor incorrectly coded in the Emden plant.

Production Solution

Production period between October 7th, 2010 and November 5th, 2010 is affected:

^ VIN range of AN_BE726214 to AN_BE735064.

Service





^ Connect Midtronics Incharge (INC-940) Tester/Charger to vehicle's battery.

^ Connect VAS tester to vehicle.

^ Switch ignition ON.

^ Start Guided Fault Finding (GFF).

^ Run test plan Coding Rain/Light Recognition Sensor.
