External Audio Source Connection (R199)

Use the Vehicle diagnostic tester for servicing or Fault Finding.

Check the radio, clock and Convenience System after the battery has been connected. Refer to and the Owner's Manual.

Installed location external audio source connection (R199)





The external audio source connection - 1 - is installed in the front cover (center console).

The external audio source connection - 1 - is inside the center console storage compartment. It is located on the right side of the front trim at the bottom.

The external audio source connection works with the radio/radio-navigation system that has an "AUX".

The audio signals from and MP3 player or a portable CD/cassette player can be played in the radio/RNS using an adapter cable connected to the external audio source connection. These will then be transmitted through the speaker system.
