Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in sequence - 1 through 5 -
1 Tighten the bolts hand tight
2 Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm

Lower Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence, with 15 Bolts





Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in sequence - 1 through 15 -
1 Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm
2 Tighten the bolts an additional 45° (1/8) turn

Lower Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence, with 8 Bolts





Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in sequence - 1 through 8 -
1 Tighten the bolts to 4 Nm
2 Tighten the bolts an additional 45° (1/8) turn
