Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533)

The data bus on board diagnostic interface is secured in the driver footwell to a brace near the center console.






Removal

• If the data bus on board diagnostic interface is to be replaced, always perform the procedure => [ Replacing Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533) ] Replacing Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533).

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the cover in the driver footwell.

- Release and disconnect the harness connector - 1 -.






- Press the mounting pins - 3 - together - arrows - and pull them out of the holes.

- Remove the data bus on board diagnostic interface (J533) from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
