Entry Assistance Unit Release Cable

• The following describes removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Remove front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat

- Attach the seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Remove front right seat trim. Refer to => [ Right Seat Trim ] Right Seat Trim

- Remove front left seat trim. Refer to => [ Left Seat Trim ] Left Seat Trim

- Remove front seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left Front Seat Backrest ] Left Front Seat Backrest

- Disengage the release cable - 1 - from the bracket - 2 -.

- Disengage eyelet - 3 - from pins - 4 -.

- Disengage the release cable - 1 - from the bracket - 5 -.

- Thread end of release - 7 - out of bracket - 6 -.






Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.
