Rear Lid

Removing

- Remove the trim panel from the rear lid.

- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.

- Remove the electric wires - 2 - with the rubber grommet out of the rear lid - 1 -.






- Loosen, but do not remove, the bolts - 3 - on the left and right hinges.

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

- Remove the bolts - 3 - and the rear lid - 1 -.

Installing

Install the rear lid - 1 - in reverse order of removal.






Bolt - 3 - tightening specification: 9 Nm

- Adjust the rear lid. Refer to => [ Rear Lid, Adjusting ] Rear Lid, Adjusting.

• Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
