Front A/C Display Control Head (E87)/Climatronic Control Module (J255)

• The Climatronic control module and the Front A/C display control head are a single unit and cannot be disassembled.

• Perform a basic setting and an adaptation "A/C compressor first start" in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions if a new Front A/C display control head with Climatronic control module are being installed.

Removing

- Remove the trim around the A/C and heater controls.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - (1.5 ± 0.2 Nm) and the Front A/C display control head.

- Disconnect the connectors from the Front A/C display control head.

Installing

• Perform a basic setting and an adaptation "A/C compressor first start" in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions if a new Front A/C display control head with Climatronic control module are being installed.

Install in reverse order of removal. Tightening specification for the bolts: 1.5 ± 0.2
