EVAP System Overview






1 Leak Detection Pump (V144)

• Installed location: Under the right rear wheel housing liner.

• Checking, refer to the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Leak Detection Pump (V144) ] Service and Repair.

2 Air Filter Housing

• For the leak detection pump.

3 Connecting Line

• From the leak detection pump to the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister.

4 EVAP Canister

• Installed location: Under the floor panel on the right rear side.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ EVAP Canister ] Service and Repair.

5 Separating Point

• On the right side behind the fuel tank.

6 Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

7 EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 (N80)

• Checking, refer to the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.

8 Separating Point

• Inside the engine compartment on the right side.

9 Vent Line

• White

• From the EVAP canister to the EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1.

• Installed position: Under the floor panel.

• Attached to the top of the fuel tank.

10 Separating Point

• On the right front of the fuel tank in the vicinity of the fuel filter.

11 Filler Tube

12 Vent Line

• From the filler tube to the EVAP canister.
