Display and Control Unit

Removing

• The Climatronic Control Module (J255) and the Front A/C display control head (E87) are one component that cannot be disassembled.

• Perform a basic setting and an adaptation "A/C compressor first start" either in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions when a new Front A/C display control head and a Climatronic control module are installed.

- Remove the trim around the A/C and heater controls.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - (1.5 ± 0.2 Nm) and the Front A/C display control head.

- Disconnect the connectors from the Front A/C display control head.

Installing

• Perform a basic setting and an adaptation "A/C compressor first start" either in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions when a new Front A/C display control head and a Climatronic control module are installed.

Install in reverse order of removal. Tightening specification for the bolts: 1.5 ± 0.2
