Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764), With KESSY, Coding

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

The "access/start authorization system" must be coded after replacing the electronic steering column lock control module.

- Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to => [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems ] Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems

- In the vehicle diagnostic tester , select "guided fault finding".

- Using the "Go to" button, select the "function/component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• OBD capable systems

• Electronic steering column lock
