Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

Fig. 10 Fuel pump assembly:

1. Using pliers 2901, or other suitable pinch pliers, close off the flexible tank-to-pump fuel line.
2. Clean all connections carefully. Remove pump and pressure accumulator as a unit, Fig. 10.
3. Disconnect fuel lines, electrical connector and remove pump.
