1.Engine Does Not Start

1.1 Ignition System

Check ignition system according to Service Manual, "Ignition System", TP 30432/1. NOTE! Always make sure the ignition control unit and the distributor (MY 1983) are equipped with sleeves according to the illustration on page 60-61 of the Service Manual.

If the ignition control unit is replaced, the wiring harness P/N 1332643-4 (MY 1983) P/N 1346259-3 (MY 1984), between the distributor and ignition control unit should also be replaced.
1.2 FUEL SYSTEM

Check fuel system according to Service Manual "Fuel System LH-Jetronic II B23F", TP 30427/1.
