Temperature Sensor Installation

TEMPERATURE SENSOR IN TO LOWER RADIATOR HOSE

- Drain the cooling system

- Locate the connection pipe so the wires will make it to the sensor.

- Cut the lower hose and install the connection pipe and hose clamps.

- Install the temperature sensor (p/n 1378504-3) with the washer (p/n 18671-8) into the connection pipe.

- Before connecting the leads to the sensor, test the fan function by turning on ignition and connect the BL-SB and the SB leads to each other.

- Connect the blue-black (BL-SB) and the black (SB) wires to the temperature sensor.

- Make sure that hose clamps and temperature sensor are tight, refill the cooling system.

- Re-assemble the car, and check for leaks in the cooling system.
