Torque Rod: Service and Repair

1. Raise vehicle and place stands under the jacking points of body.
2. Remove torque rod attaching bolts, then the torque rod, Fig. 2.
3. Install rear end of torque rod first, then install the front end with X-link.
4. Torque front end bolts to 103 ft. lbs., sub-frame mount bolts to 63 ft. lbs., then the rear end bolts to 103 ft. lbs.
