Equipment and Materials For R134A Retrofit

CAUTION:
^ Ascertain the type of refrigerant used in the A/C system. This is essential to avoid mixing of refrigerants and/or oils, resulting in damage to the compressor and workshop equipment.

^ Look in the engine compartment for a label indicating that a retrofit conversion has already been carried out. Inspect the service valves. A type other than the ordinary R12 type indicates that the system has already been converted.

^ Original 0-rings must never be reused. Always lubricate the new 0-rings (yellow for R134a) with ESTER OIL prior to installation.
