Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect switch wires.
3. Remove switch retaining nut. Remove switch.
4. When installing switch, be sure that distance between brake pedal when fully released, and thread bronze hub on switch is 4 mm (.008). If necessary, adjust by loosening bracket attaching screw and moving bracket.
