Water Pump Removal:

Adjusting Water Pump Position:

Install Water Pump:
1. Install a new gasket between pump and cylinder block.
2. Install a new O-ring on water pump.
3. Secure pump with two nuts.
- Make sure that O-ring is in position and that it is not damaged.
- Tighten nuts so that pump does not slip, but can be moved upwards.
4. Pry water pump against cylinder head.
5. Install washers and bolts.
6. Tighten nuts and bolts.
7. Install return pipe.

Upper Timing Gear Cover:

Fan Shroud & Pulley:

Battery Negative Cable:

Install:
1. Upper timing gear cover:
- 1 10 mm socket M6 bolt
- 2 12 mm socket M8 bolt
- 3 Cross-head screwdriver panel screw
2. Pump pulley.
3. drive belts (loosely).
4. Lower radiator hose.
5. Fan shroud.
6. Preheating hose clamp.
7. Fan.
8. Battery (-) cable

Tighten Drive Belts:
1. It should be possible to depress belt 5-10 mm (0.20-0.40 in) in center of one of runs, using light thumb pressure.

Filling With Coolant:

Fill With Coolant:
1. Tighten drain cock.
2. Fill expansion tank to MAX.
3. Set heater control to "warm" and run engine until warm.
4. Check for leaks. Top-up if necessary.
5. Install expansion tank cap.
6. AC vehicles: reconnect vacuum hose to water valve.
