Cables Undamaged

- If the battery cables are undamaged: cut a 4.3" (11 cm) length of protective tube P/N 979236-7.





- Install protective tube on the battery positive cable between the two clamps securing the cable to the cross-member where the cables separate. See illustration.

- The slit in the protective tube should face down.

- Install a tie strap P/N 948211-8 around each end of the protective tube.

- Reinstall splash guard under the engine

- LOWER THE CAR

- Clean and connect negative battery terminal

- Apply surface protection

- Reset clock and radio code, if applicable.
