Flow Of Diagnosis:

1. Be sure to verify the complaint! Use the Driveability and Repair Worksheets.
2. Always check for applicable TSB's.
3. Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS under TESTING PROCEDURES for fault code extraction. Be sure to review CHECKING THE BASICS under TESTING PROCEDURES.
4. Depending upon whether fault codes are present or not, follow the steps as outlined in the FLOW OF DIAGNOSIS.
