Ignition System Components:

Numbers in parenthesis ( ) refer to component numbers on the image and on applicable wiring diagrams.

COIL WIRE
Between ignition coil (4) and distributor cap (5).

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
Top of transmission bellhousing (413).

CYLINDER SENSOR
Attached to #1 spark plug wire (left rear cylinder), (416).

DISTRIBUTOR
Front of left cylinder head (5).

DISTRIBUTOR CAP
Attached to front of distributor (5).

DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR
Under distributor cap (5).

IGNITION COIL
Attached to front of left strut tower (4).

IGNITION CONTROL MODULE
Inside passenger compartment above steering column (260).

KNOCK SENSOR
Two, under intake manifold on each side of engine block (218).

POWER STAGE
Left front fender, next to air cleaner (419).

SPARK PLUG WIRES
Routed over valve covers from distributor cap (5) to spark plugs (not shown).

SPARK PLUGS
Three in each cylinder head.
