Distributor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove distributor cap and rotor.
2. Remove center bolt from rotor drive flange.
3. Carefully pry rotor drive flange from camshaft. Remove dust shield.
4. Remove distributor housing bolts (2).
5. Remove distributor.

INSTALLATION
1. Install distributor housing and secure housing bolts.
2. Install dust shield, rotor drive flange, and center bolt. Torque center bolt to:

52 - 66 ft. lbs. (70 - 90 Nm)

3. Re-install rotor and tighten rotor screws.
4. Re-install distributor cap.
