Fluid Seals
OPERATIONThe functions of the fluid seals are to prevent the escape of brake fluid and to return the pistons to the idle position after braking. Each seal is square in section and is pressed against the piston by the slightly angled groove in the housing. The dust seal prevents the entry of dirt between the cylinder and piston.
