RC1
The engine will not start, the following message is displayed:
To continue test start engine
To continue fault tracing leave Running Test and return to it again in order to carry out a complete test in start mode.
Depending on why the engine stops running the test will end with one of the two following messages.
- Ignition on.
- Press EXIT to leave Running Test.
- Select RUNNING TEST with the arrow keys.
- Press ENTER.
- Follow the message.
- Operate the starter motor.
^ Fault not detected by the ST.
^ Permanent or intermittent fault detected by the ST.
RC2
The engine has stopped with the message:
End of test, no fault found
To continue fault tracing leave Running Test and return to it again in order to carry out a complete test in start mode.
Depending on why the engine stops running the test will end with one of the two following messages.
- Ignition on.
- Press EXIT to leave Running Test.
- Select RUNNING TEST with the arrow keys.
- Press ENTER.
- Follow the message.
- Operate the starter motor.
^ Fault not detected by the ST.
^ Permanent or intermittent fault detected by the ST.
RC3
The engine will not start. Old fault exists.
To continue fault tracing the old fault message must be read and deleted. Leave Running Test and return to it again in order to carry out a complete test in start mode. Note that the old fault message need not necessarily have any connection with the engine not starting.
Depending on why the engine stops running the test will end with one of the two following messages.
- Ignition on.
- Press HELP to be able to delete the fault message.
- Delete the fault message by pressing EXIT for more than 5 seconds.
- Select RUNNING TEST with the arrow keys.
- Press ENTER to go into Running Test.
- Follow the message.
- Operate the starter motor.
^ Fault not detected by the ST.
^ Permanent or intermittent fault detected by the ST.
