Standard Heater

Standard heater, Heater control panel, replacement

Note: Control panel may differ from that shown, but replacement procedure remains the same.


Removal

Disconnect battery ground.




Remove heater control panel trim.
Allow control panel to remain suspended from wiring.




Remove/disconnect:
- control panel from dashboard
- insulating sleeve from switch
- control panel light
- control cables.

Lift out control panel.


Installation




Reconnect control cables.
Adjust controls.

Note! Snipe-nose pliers may be bent as shown to simplify cable connection.

Install insulating sleeve and light.




Install:
- control panel
- trim.

Reconnect battery ground lead.
