Checking Integrated Antenna In Rear Side Window 5-Door

If readings deviate, minor damage to the antenna loops can be repaired as described below.

If repair is not possible, the window must be replaced.




- Turn off ignition and radio.
- Release signal booster connector at rear side window.
- Connect an ohmmeter between the ends of the AM antenna loop In the window, as Illustrated.
The ohmmeter should show less than 12 ohm.




- Connect an ohmmeter between one end of the AM antenna loop in the window and the booster connector.
The ohmmeter should show less than 6 ohm.




- Connect an ohmmeter between the ends of the FM antenna loop in the window as illustrated.
The ohmmeter should show less than 10 Ohms.




- Connect an ohmmeter between one end of the FM wires in the window and booster connector as illustrated.
The ohmmeter should show less than 5 Ohm.




- Refit signal booster connector to window.
