REX#5 Battery voltage missing



Conditions for fault message:
Fault message is issued if voltage is below 1 Volt.

Cause of fault:
Break in line between Rex-I #5 and battery.

Fault symptom:
Diagnostic system does not function.

Disconnection of the Volvo System Tester
- Disconnect the System Tester according to P1. P1. Connection of Volvo System Tester
^ Continue with Connection of measurement box PK2.

Connection of measurement box
Connect the measurement box to Rex-I and check the chassis connections according to N3-N4. N. Measurement Box, Signal Description
^ Continue with Checking of voltage supply PK3.

Checking of voltage supply
- Ignition on.
Connect a voltmeter between #5 and #20.
The voltmeter should show battery voltage

If the value is OK:
Intermittent disruption.
^ Check the connections between #5 and the battery for loose connections according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring

If the value differs:
^ Check the wire between #5 and the battery for breakage according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring
