Mechanical Overview
- Check the air and vacuum hoses for leaks in accordance with Z. Checking the air and vacuum hoses. Z. Checking the Air and Vacuum Hoses

If no air leaks are found.
^ Check the injector pulses JA2.

Checking The Injector Pulses
Connect a voltmeter between terminals 1 and 2 on one of the injectors.
- Start the engine.
The voltmeter should read 200-400 mV.

If this value is OK
^ WB. Adjusting the throttle disc. WB. Adjusting the Throttle Disc

If the reading is incorrect
^ Check the ECT sensor JA3.

Checking The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor
Carry out fault tracing in accordance with ED. DTC 1-2-3 ECT sensor absent or faulty. DTC 1-2-3

If no fault Is found
Intermittent fault.
^ Check the connections for loose contacts in accordance with NA5. NA. Checking the Wiring
