Check Resistance In Signal Lead [EF4]

Check Resistance In Signal Lead

- Ignition off.
- Disconnect wheel sensor.
- Disconnect control module.

Connect an ohmmeter between wheel sensor connector terminal 1 and test box:

- #45 (DTC 3-1-4)
- #46 (DTC 3-1-3)
- #47 (DTC 3-1-2)
- #48 (DTC 3-1-1).

NOTE: In cars with integrated cabling to rear wheel sensors, take readings between test box:
#45 and connector 24/19 terminal 2 (DTC 3-1-4)
#46 and connector 24/19 terminal 1 (DTC 3-1-3)

Ohmmeter should read approx. 0 Ohms.

If reading is OK:
- Check resistance in ground lead EF5. Check Resistance In Ground Lead [EF5]

If reading is incorrect:
- Front wheel sensors: Check lead between wheel sensor connector terminal 1 and control module #47 (DTC 3-1-2) and #48 (DTC 3-1-1) for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]

- Rear wheel sensors: Check signal lead connector EF7. Check Signal Lead Connector [EF7]
