Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Conditions for DTC
The control module has two microprocessors, which carry out all calculations in parallel and then compare the results. If the control module finds the calculations produce different results due to an internal fault, it posts DTC 4-4-1.

- ABS/TRACS cuts out.

Sources of fault
- Contact resistance at terminals
- Faulty control module
