Or the diagnostic hookup can be used.

With Diagnostic Test Mode 4 the transfer rate between the control module and the diagnostic hookup can be altered.

Trouble code Function

3-1-1 Normal rate. Connected every time the ignition is turned ON.
3-1-2 Double rate. Experienced fault tracer can without problems use double rate.
3-1-3 Ten times normal rate. Used for Diagnostic Key.
