Hood Contact

A magnetic switch is mounted next to the left-hand hood catch and a magnet in the hood itself. When the hood is opened the magnetic switch is grounded (OC open-circuit function).

Sound/visual signal
When the alarm is triggered, attention is drawn by means of a separate horn or siren. in addition, there is a visual alarm using the car's normal flashers.
