Service Mode

In this mode the alarm is turned off and will not react to signals from the alarm inputs. The car battery can be disconnected without problems since the programmed alarm memory will remain for up to 10 years.
The car may be driven as though not equipped with an alarm.


Service mode is selected as follows:





- Deactivate the alarm
- Turn the ignition key to item II.
- Keep remote button 1 depressed for three seconds.


NOTE: Service mode has not been achieved until the cars flashers acknowledge with 2 short signals.


Service mode is indicated by the LED flashing every 3 seconds.

Proceed as follows:




- Ignition off.
- NOTE: Lock the car with the door key.


NOTE: Any siren with rechargeable batteries must be shut off separately with the appropriate key.


Service mode is disabled as follows:




(Return to normal alarm function)
- Turn ignition key to off.
- Press remote button 1 twice.
The first touch will activate the alarm and unlocked doors will be locked.
- Activate any siren with the appropriate key.
