Basic Alarm System
The Volvo 960 1995-97 is equipped with an advanced central locking system (similar to that used in the Volvo 850).

The basic alarm functions only in conjunction with the central locking system.

Guard Alarm II
This sytem can also be installed in 960 1993-1994 and the 940 1993-95 models with additional wiring.

When fault tracing, it is therefore important to distinguish the control module relay bases.


NOTE: When fault tracing, if a fault is found in the wiring, make a habit of checking the circuit, since there may be certain differences in the identification of connectors and such.
