Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

Fuel Filter And Main Pump Location:

REMOVAL
1. Turn ignition OFF.
2. Remove the fuel filler cap to prevent a vacuum in tank when replacing filter.
3. Remove all bolts but one, from the fuel filter/pump carrier assembly. Loosen last bolt (but do not remove) and leave carrier hanging from the vehicle.

8. Remove the fuel filter.
9. Remove the mounting clamp from the old filter.
