Checking The Spark Plugs
Check visually that the spark plugs are not worn and that no plug is lighter than the others.

If all the spark plugs are OK
^ Check the ignition leads JC2.

If one spark plug is lighter than the others
^ Check the injector JC3.

If any of the spark plugs are worn
^ Replace all the spark plugs if any of them are worn.
^ Continue with Checking the ignition leads JC2.

Checking The Ignition Leads
Check with an ohmmeter that none of the ignition leads are damaged.

If the ignition leads and spark plugs are OK
^ Mechanical inspection JC4.

If any of the ignition leads are damaged
^ Replace all the ignition leads.

Checking The Injector
A spark plug that is lighter than the others indicates that the cylinder is receiving too little fuel.
^ Try using a new injector.
^ Replace all the spark plugs.

Mechanical Inspection
Carry out a compression test.

If compression is OK
^ Connecting the test box JC5.

If compression is uneven
^ Check the valve clearance.

Connecting The Test Box
- Connect the test box in accordance with P1-P2. P. Test Box, Signal Description
- Check all signals to MFI
in accordance with PB. Signal description MFI. PB. Signal Description MFI LH 2.4
