Filling of Storage Container (Gas Bottle) From RHS 850

Procedure should be carried out only if several cars have been drained but not recharged. Use only approved gas bottles. Container (bottle) must not be overfilled. Fill only to 80 % of stated capacity to allow for thermal expansion of gas.

- Connect unit to single-phase, 220 V, 50 Hz grounded supply.


- Close MAIN SWITCH (1).

- Connect red hose to connection (9) on unit and to bottle. Cock (7) must be closed. Open cock (8) on unit and cock on bottle (10).

- Set selector switch (2) to CHARGING.
Unit will now drain cylinder automatically to bottle. When finished, close cock on bottle.

- Set selector switch (2) to RECOVERY. Close cock (8) and open cock (7).
Hose will now be emptied automatically.

- Wait until lamp (4) has gone out. Hose is now empty of refrigerant.

- Close cock (7).
Set selector switch (2) to TEST
Open MAIN SWITCH (1).
