AW 50-42 SHIFT SPEEDS

The AW 50-42 automatic transmission has a driving mode selector for selecting three different driving modes. E = Economy, S = Sport and W = Winter.

Depending on the mode selected, shifting occurs and mechanical lock-up is engaged at different speeds. When carrying out a test drive, speeds in the shift tables should be used only as a guide, as it is hard to read off exact speed and throttle position values while driving.

All tests are done with the gear selector in D.
