Central Locking Inoperable on One Door

NOTE: If driver's door central locking module only will not unlock: go to Central Locking System Completely Inop. Step C19.


D1 Verifying Mechanical Functions For Fault On One Door

Switch ignition off.
Shut door.
See if you can lock and unlock the door via the inside locking button.





Open the door using the inside door handle.





If central locking module can be manually operated:
Check central locking motor windings in Step C14 as previosly noted above.

If central locking module cannot be manually operated:
There is a mechanical fault in the central locking module or linkage to the inside lock and door handle. Correct fault or replace complete central locking module or linkage.
