Sunroof / Moonroof: Description and Operation

Design and function

The sun roof is made of glass and is controlled by an electrical motor/gear housing and two cables.

The sun roof has two main movements: open-close (horizontal movement) and lift at rear edge-close (vertical movement). The position of the sun roof is infinitely variable.

If there is a power failure, the sun roof can be moved with a tool (a wide screwdriver) inside the roof light panel.
