Sealing Micro-Enclosed Screws

Micro-enclosed screws are used where it is necessary to have a strong seal. Loose screws are replaced or sealed with new sealing compound.

Use sealing compound "HYDRAULIC THREAD SEAL" part No. 1 161 056-5, or equivalent. Sealing must be carried out according to the instructions on the packet.

The following steps show the screws to be sealed with "HYDRAULIC THREAD SEAL" and their location.





1. Sealing compound "Hydraulic thread seal"
- part No. 1 161 056-5, or equivalent
- Use brush and/or packet spout to apply sealing compound to screws.





2. Engine intake side.





3. Engine exhaust side.





4. Engine rear.





5. Engine front.
