Gauge Not Working at All

AN INOPERATIVE FUEL GAUGE MAY BE CAUSED BY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Open circuit in sensor ground connection.
- Sensor ground connection shorted to battery potential.
- Open circuit in sensor signal wiring.
- Sensor signal wiring shorted to ground.
- Open circuit in sensor.
- Sensor short circuited.
- Defective fuel gauge.
- Sensor stuck in lowest position.
