^ Or Equivalent

Removal
1. Raise car.





2. Remove left hand rubber silencer mounting. Hang silencer as high as possible in a tie wrap.





3. Undo outer transverse arm mounting nut (1) and remove bolt.
4. Mark up the position of the right transverse arm mounting in relation to the left hand trailing arm hole (2).
a. Punch a mark on the mounting at the edge of the hole.
b. Remove the other mounting bolt.

NOTE: It is very important that this marking is done properly otherwise rear wheel toe in will be incorrect.

5. Remove:
a. Anti-roll bar mounting bolts.
b. Anti-roll bar.

Installation





1. Install the new anti-roll bar.
a. Install bolts with new nuts (1).
b. Use new bolt and nut (2, 3).

NOTE: Do not tighten bolts yet.





2. Install transverse arm mounting to the trailing arm with new bolts and nuts:
a. Install the inner bolt (1) and nut. Align the mounting in accordance with marking (2). Tighten the nut to fix the position. Install bolt (3) and nut.
b. Tighten the nuts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) and angle tighten to 120°. Use angle gauge.





3. Tighten anti-roll bar mounting bolts:
a. Tighten bolt No. 1 to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
b. Tighten bolt No. 2 to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) and angle-tighten to 90°.
c. Tighten bolt No. 3 to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.) and angle-tighten to 90°. Use angle gauge.





4. Cut the tie wrap in which the silencer is hanging.
5. Replace rubber mounting.
